Vineyard and vinification

Vignobles Alain Meyre comprises 50 hectares of prime vineyard land in the AC Listrac-Médoc and Haut-Médoc. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot are the main grapes planted. In the vineyard, all work is carried out in an environmentally concious manner while in the cellars tradition is key in the practices of vinification and ageing. All the wines are aged in oak for a minimum of 12 months and are then fined with egg white, the most gentle and natural of fining agents.
The wines are then estate bottled before being released on the market.
